Office administrator

Our office in Staines is looking for enthusiastic volunteers who would like to experience working in a small charity environment, providing administrative support to assist in the day to day smooth running of the office.

Volunteers are needed to take on a variety of important tasks in our office. We are looking for people who don’t mind doing anything from putting together mail shots, general correspondence, database entry and filing.

Ongoing training will be provided and we are able to reimburse reasonable out of pocket expenses. As you will be dealing with sensitive information tact and discretion are required at all times.

Ideally we’re looking for regular help on a weekly basis, so if you have a few hours per week to spare (or more!), we’d love to hear from you.

Fundraisers

We are looking for enthusiastic volunteers to help with fundraising and assist with fundraising events to generate income. We need people who can communicate effectively and accept responsibility for the job and its delivery. We would like the volunteers to develop a fundraising strategy to increase income and talk to local companies, stores and funders to increase awareness of the charity and it’s need for continuing funding.

Ideally we’re looking for regular help on a weekly basis, so if you have a few hours per week to spare (or more!), we’d love to hear from you.

Collection tin volunteers

We are looking for volunteers to place collection tins at various shops and points in the local community. The volunteer must be able to communicate effectively and accept responsibility for the job and its delivery. We would like the volunteers to develop a collection tin system and to grow it.

Ideally we’re looking for regular help on a weekly basis, so if you have a few hours per week to spare (or more!), we’d love to hear from you.

Complementary Therapists

We are looking for Complementary Therapists to provide treatments at our Relaxation Days where cancer patients and their carers can come and be pampered. The atmosphere encourages patients and carers to relax and enjoy the therapy.

We are looking for therapists who are qualified to offer:
